1. My great-grandmother immigrated from the Ukraine when she was 16 years old. At sixteen I was able to live in the Ukraine, retracing BaBu's steps. Since then I have been hooked, culture, food, knick-knacks etc.
2. Studied printmaking at the three colleges I attended. Much of my work is based on the idea of laying down solid flats of color.
3. Since leaving school with out a press to print off, I refocused my work to paint not ink.
4. My mother is an avid seamstress. As a girl the pinnacle
moments growing up were highlighted with handmade garments. Halloween costumes, princess dresses, crazy skirts on the cheap, and the ever glowing prom dress.
5. Also adding to my education, VINO.
